Following our dialogue with UNPRI CEO on the impact of COVID-19 on ESG investing and conversation with Ambassador Danish Ambassador Dorte Bech Vizard on the recovery agenda, the Bloomberg Women’s Buy-side Network (BWBN) continues to convene thought leaders to discuss the social purpose of the buy-side industry and long-term contribution to the future of capital.
In our next BWBN webinar, we explore the future of pension financing and retirement in a post COVID-19 environment. The pandemic has not only compelled us to re-examine our own health and future well-being, but it has raised important questions about the role of asset owners as drivers of economic recovery. In addition, recent market dislocations have had a sizeable impact on investment returns, compelling the world of pension investments to modernize and embrace new technologies, markets and processes.
What is the impact of the pandemic on the future of pension financing, and how are we re-thinking their role, especially in the growth of ESG investments? What does the recent Allianz Global Pension Report tell us about the resilience of global pension systems, and whether pension policies should be a part of a domestic recovery strategy?
Join us as we find out more from a leading asset owner, asset manager and economist.
